Stable HarvestSavings calculators, grown slowly

About Stable Harvest

Five calculators for putting money by, one season at a time.

What it is

Stable Harvest is a small set of free savings calculators: how much to save for a goal, how big an emergency fund to aim for, how to spread known bills with sinking funds, a printable 52-week savings challenge, and how a balance grows with compound interest. Each page shows its formula and a worked example, and names the published sources it relies on.

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, and once a page has loaded it keeps working without a connection. The sinking funds list, your challenge ticks and your currency and theme choices are kept in your browser's local storage on this device; the privacy page lists each one and how to clear it. There are no accounts, cookies or ads.

Educational use only — not financial advice

Stable Harvest is for education and planning. The calculators do arithmetic with the amounts and rates you enter. Interest rates in the examples are only examples: they are not forecasts, and no return is promised. The site does not recommend any bank, account or product, and nothing here is financial, tax or legal advice. For decisions about your own money, check with your provider or a qualified, independent adviser.

Who runs it

Stable Harvest is an independent website. It is not a bank or any other financial institution and is not connected to one.
